Prior to the evolution of Homo Sapiens, the dominant species on this planet were the dinosaurs. The dinosaurs lasted for approx. 25 million years before they were eliminated by some unknown natural event, most likely a meteor strike. Conversely, the human race has been around for about one million years. In this time, we have systematically raped our planet of it�s natural resources, engaged in continuous wars upon each other, and infested every hidden corner with our poisonous filth. Considering the dinosaurs didn�t accomplish this in the 25 million years they had, it seems the human race can be likened to a short, violent disease... one that ultimately kills it�s host.

In the words of one writer, "The mother needs a rest".

It is for this reason that Friends of the Apocalypse (FOTA) has been established. We eagerly await any event, natural or man-made, that will result in the total and complete annihilation of the human species from this planet. We acknowledge humanity as a festering disease that must and will be eliminated, and eagerly encourage the event that will wipe out even the memory of Homo Sapiens from the cosmos.
